Job Description
* Handling procurement of projects assigned to him by Project Procurement Head.
*Prepare the overall procurement strategy along with functional requirements stated by management objectives and explain the same to team
*Identify/assign existing vendors and/or develop new vendors for all the procurement
*Leading the Pre & Post bid techno-commercial discussions with vendors for any clarifications on enquiries made by the buyers
*Internal evaluation of techno-commercial offers received from the vendors and ensure proper compliance in all respect with respect to management guidelines
*Check and present final commercial comparisons for order placement decision making via E-bidding or manual negotiations
*'Seeking Senior management approval for order placement with proper justifications and supporting as per commercial decision finalized in line with negotiations held.
*'Facilitate final release and dispatch of signed purchase order to the selected vendor and obtain order acknowledgement
*Prepare and submit the payment processing request to Finance/ account as per purchase order terms and conditions
*Monitoring post order management
Eligibility Criteria:
B.E.(Mech) with 10-15 years exp in Procurement function of a Large Iron co. Must have hands on exp of Procurement of Capex equipments (Mech & Electrical). Leadership & Strong Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills & Project Management Skills.
